:new:Hey Daverod this is spud truck I'm up by Rexburg. Just some Fyi there are two trucks at Cross's Crashes in the Falls. One is a 63 big window and I think the other is about a 65 GMC. There is also one at Holst truck parts I think it was a 65 chevy. Can't remember what trans they had in them. There is also another 65 on Craigs list in Rigby it has some pretty cool looking old school slotted mags. It was 400 obo. Just thought I'd let you know. By the way what an awsome build thread.

Cool welcome Is this cross place a car lot? Da crashes. It must be a junk yard. I heard the Falls have good yards. I saw the one on craigs. Is that spud truck your daily driver?

Yep they have some pretty good yards. Crosses it just down from Wright brothers truck stop he really is reasonable especially if you pull your own. You might give that craigslist a try I think he was really needing to move it.If you need me to check on stuff up here let me know.

Just bought some modular 2 1/2 " dropped spindles from cpp. Now I can start working on my front end. Going with a rack and pinion. Just have to find out how to hook it up to my cross member. I can post again.:metal:http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/a...1&d=1256095771

I'll be watching how easily the rack and pinion goes in, I have an uncle who plans on installing a rack in his 58 apache.

Gee it is great to attach stuff to posts again!!

I should get the new flex plate in tomorrow if time permits,I picked up the new starter today, but A-Zone had robbed the box and taken out the shims and the measuring gauge for starter clearance, so I have to return and borrow some from another box! I can't work on it every night or my wife pitches a fit and there is %$#@ in camp!
You know -if momma isn't happy-- nobody is happy !

You should have made the lower A Arm air bag mounts while you still had them on? It's very critical where you position the bags. Also have to cut where the upper part of the bag mounts. The bag CAN NOT TOUCH ANYTHING, or it will wear a hole in it.

Now you tell me. Thanks Dennis. I still have time. I'm going to put it all together when I get my spindles. I never really thought about how the bags hooked on to the arms. I guess I'll have to order some more bags and cups?:smoke:

Yours look different. This one is a 57 Chevy Nomad, but you get the idea. Check it fully collapsed, and inflated.

Gage me and Dave have never met before. I was giving him a hard time so he just had to bring my truck into it. My friend did weld that before I bought the truck. This is one of my first welds.
