Brakes turned out awesome, wish I saw your thread before I spent my life savings on my cpp kit

Re: How to: Ruin a perfectly good C10
Thanks! The CPP and McGaughys kits are good for the money and I'm not sure I saved much by doing them this way, but I can say they are custom

Re: How to: Ruin a perfectly good C10
if you dont want a project that 2WD from NY looks pretty good, have you talked to him yet. There is always Phattony's up here, its beautiful and very well done with some very unique touches.
Good luck with the search.. |
Re: How to: Ruin a perfectly good C10
Maaaaan, timing is just so bad for Louise right now. Wish I could get her back from you and put her in storage for a while. Just not in the cards right now...
I am talking to Charlie about that blue 6-cyl. I'll check out phat Tony's, but I think he may be out of my price range. Posted via Mobile Device |

Just a word of caution, I'm pretty sure it doesn't meet the DOT requirements for an "emergency brake".... |
Re: How to: Ruin a perfectly good C10
Really? I thought most shops tested it by putting the vehicle in D, and the e-brake had to at least hold it in place w/o rolling.

Re: How to: Ruin a perfectly good C10
Saw you Rollin into shopping center off of Youree drive this evening...I must say your truck looks soooo much better in person! I' ll run you down one day!

Re: How to: Ruin a perfectly good C10
What's the deal w/deciding against the forward arms?
|
Re: How to: Ruin a perfectly good C10
Nothing against the arms- I needed to liquidate for another hobby and they were an easy sale. I will probably do the caster mod at some point. Play time/money is all focused on a Blazer right now. My wife is on board (even suggested it), so I'm striking while the iron is hot :)
