tried to actually get something done on the truck tonite...i had to take off the passenger door panel to reverse the wires on the motor but found it a heck of a lot easier to just flip the terminal on the switch...voila!! also i put this stuff similar to the factory stuff behind the door panel. guess it was there for anti rattle....hope it works.!!

also tried to realign the door latch so the door would shut easier, but with the rubber being new and not 100% broke in, i think i got it as good as its gonna get until the body man gets the truck back for touch up, etc...

i do need an opinion on one thing tho...and please chime in...Since i dont wanna drill another hole and run another cable for an emergency release on the door, which i dont know where to begin so i calling it a pain, how about a spring return key switch under the hood for, say, the passenger window switch. This way if the battery was to die or in the most worst case the cable break on the actuator, i can roll the window down with the turn of a key. Of course 12v supply would be straight off of the battery and the keyswitch would be hidden 100%.

Put the switch somewhere out of sight in the engine compartment that can't be reached without opening the hood and with the wires inaccessible for hot wiring.

wow i havent been on here in a long time ..... same old thing...did another surprise visit at the shop and he finally got the other fender blasted yesterday....so i guess it took him a month to do one fender and a month to do the next....i dont think ill make the october car show.... i no longer have my motorcycle...i traded it for a small car that gets hella better gas mileage than my new truck...

Don't feel bad man. I'm in the same boat. Been a while since I been on. And haven't done a darn thing to my truck. Hope to have a garage soon so I can do it right. That's sad about your body guy. I plan to do my own work. That way I can only get mad at myself!
