Moderator or someone, when I click on Manage Attachments it now only brings up 1 box to download a picture where it used to bring up 5 boxes also It wont even let me download a single picture.. Now you all know I have downloaded thousands of pictures on this site and I know things change but what is going on , am I the only one still having issues ?

Re: Slosh Tubz new company project "Square Peg" frame laying 1987 GMC Jimmy
Seems as though most people are using photo bucket to get pics up.... But the picture posting sucks right now.. I am only able to post small pics from my phone as before they were full size..

Re: Slosh Tubz new company project "Square Peg" frame laying 1987 GMC Jimmy
Click browse and select a pic, then click upload. The box will empty and then you can click browse and repeat the process. As you do this you will see the file names added below the box.

I have no idea why the transition to bigger servers is affecting some and not others. I'm sure Liz is on top of it and the downtime will be as brief as possible. I do not mind putting pics up for you in the meantime.

Pics have to be resized to 640x480 or smaller and loaded 1 at a time for now.
You can still add 5 pics per post,... just upload 1 at a time. Everyone has to do this for the time being. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=589138 |
Re: Slosh Tubz new company project "Square Peg" frame laying 1987 GMC Jimmy
Mine are 640x480 the same as they have always been, still won't load

If you save the pictures you resize to the max quality, sometimes they will still be to large even within the limits. Usually picking a med (decent quality) will work just fine. Quote per Woogeroo: The final file size is also based on the resolution/clarity/quality of the photo. Even if you get the file height and width to within the parameters, you can still be over the maximum allowed file size. You can change the quality just a smidge and get the file under size. Also, it is possible to re-size large batches of photos at once with Irfanview... I do it for my web log all the time. re-sizing photos in irfanview - this shows the one at a time method. It is like everything else folks, it is easy when you know how. |

Re: Slosh Tubz new company project "Square Peg" frame laying 1987 GMC Jimmy
Nice work. What gauge of metal are you using and do you lose any material with a bead roller, say you had a 12x12 in. piece and ran a pattern with a bead roller, would the piece now be abit smaller ot nothing to really worry about
|
Re: Slosh Tubz new company project "Square Peg" frame laying 1987 GMC Jimmy
Thanks Kyle ! 18 guage metal, no as far as I know it doesn't shrink it any
|
Re: Slosh Tubz new company project "Square Peg" frame laying 1987 GMC Jimmy
i think the beadroller sooner stretches the metal than shrink it , the only way it might do that is to use knurled rollers that kindah fold the metal intoo itself , even of that im not sure
