Re: GM Semis
Yeah, looks like a couple of brand new 7500's.
They are either '68's or '69's. |

Re: GM Semis
It's big enough that I notice the fuel fill door open on the one. That makes me think someone was stealing gas. Then, I think that would be the hardest one and I wonder if it was the last one. I never would have wondered all that if the picture wasn't so big

Re: GM Semis
Actually they blow open all the time on #1 spot.
BMWs and Beetles gas door will blow completely off. Apparently going backwards at 70 mph wasn't engineered. Via Jack Hess https://scontent-lax.xx.fbcdn.net/hp...g=eyJpIjoidCJ9 |

This is a picture I have not seen here, it is from a flickr account, that came up on a google search. no copy right issues intended. Caption says it was taken at a Dealership in 1974,
looks purdy to me! https://c3.staticflickr.com/7/6009/5...96dcb4f2_b.jpgGMC, Long and Sweet by Bill Bedell, on Flickr |
Re: GM Semis
Great pictures! As much as I love a dolled-up privateer rig, I also love seeing the fleet trucks just as they were...get the job done and show the company's colors. Most trucks you see restored, even those, guys can't resist geegaws & doodads. That 66 line-up if a slice of heaven. That last 95500...wow! Look at all the new stuff. and I wonder what truck that is with the Alcoa on the rear.
Here's a picture that moves if you click it http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z...psjpt738ig.mp4 |
