pic 1. Sprayed the roof and inside of cab with Raptor bedliner.
Pic 2. Masked off entire cab so I could prep the jambs for primer. Pic 3. Jambs painted and cleared. Pic 4. Inside of cab painted and cleared. Pic 5. At this point the cab is ready to put back on the frame for its final time. I am mocking up my exhaust so I don't have to do it under the truck. |

The concept with the jambs being black is so it will blend in better with the interior. Mark |

Re: "Project Orangepeel" 52 A.D
Scott2,99,outlaw and Russ, Thank you everyone!
Yes it feels great to finally be at this point in the build (a long time coming) I have built numerous cars, trucks for other people, but this one means a lot more. The color on the intake and other small items is the same color I sprayed on the wheels. It's a custom mix I did and calling it "wicked bronze" Mark. |

Re: "Project Orangepeel" 52 A.D
Looks great Mark..!!....no power brakes?
|
Re: "Project Orangepeel" 52 A.D
Thanks Greg, No
No power brakes, I like the cleaner look of the firewall (Yes I thought of sinking the booster into the firewall) I am running 4 wheel disk, stainless braided lines so should still have nice feel to the pedal. Going with manual steering as well. (like to feel the road) Mark.. |
