Re: PO has me PO'd
I forgot to give credit to Warbucket and 2003 Silverado for picking up my front bumper from 6T727T2. Great guys and that is the kinda thing that makes this board work, wouldnt even take gas money. Thanks guys!!!
Well, finally got the LEDs to work as they should, seems that you need the taillight bulb in the socket DUH! Weird wiring though, plus I just used a HD flasher unit |
Re: PO has me PO'd
No problem Jim, and a big thanks to you for the bed sill and the B pillar. I have the profile piece for you. Also the guy that has the top for my blazer said he has the hood your looking for.

|
Re: PO has me PO'd
Love those...are they marquez designs or something else? Also, a quick detail suggestion...could you get some allen top stainless screws that you can polish up and install to keep it flush....I think that would take them up another notch..
|
Re: PO has me PO'd

Yep, thats the one, a little nox chrome cleaner and its shining away. It has just the right amount of patina to fit with my build, trying to make it look like a forty year old surviver Thanks again for dropping it off Sorry I forgot. They are the Marquez Design |

I have now acquired my 67 hood and inner fender wells.....thanks rochlow! Actually, hood was gotten from a personal stash of two board members, names witheld to protect the innocent. Kinda surprised they didnt blindfold me, since the trucks and parts in this barn were amazing Also, picked up a brand new, never mounted super swamper 10.50x31 for 15bucks Now, 3 more tires and my parts seaching will be done, only took the better part of 10 years:lol: |
Re: PO has me PO'd
Did the person we were talking about have the louvered hood? I think I might change to an earlier style hood also..

Finally figured out the best and most controlled tool to use on the plastic..... Width has to come down to 2.240", by using the backer board on the router table it is an easy task to make strait cuts Then, I had to make the cuts on the face of the lense. It is the two raised ribs on the face, only remove the outside ribs as the inside ribs clear the billet piece, with minimal cutting on the ends....more later |
