mine; be nice, its a work in progress... I just finished hacking the front crossmember from a '79 for the newer suspension, power disc brakes and steering. Does anyone know where I could find a set of 6-lug rotors to fit the '79 spindles? I already have new calipers so all I need is just the rotors; any help would be great. Looking back, I wish I had kept the truck it's original "patina green".

i know the some of the 73 to 87s had 6 lug i guess it was the heavy duty ones

That was put in in `93 $104.00 at the time, thru a friend then cut to fit, seam down the middle. 5/8 inch cdx plywood, need to redo the plywood, I did not seal it. and change the carraiges bolts to stainless.

It's got it's issues, but it runs, drives and is registered. The problems are mostly cosmetic sheet metal things. I'll post more pictures when I get the correct SD card adaptor for my computer. |
