I got my part today. Unfortunately it may be the wrong part. I didn't realize there was a difference between a 60-63 tranny humps and 64-66 tranny humps but I think the one for my 63 was straight across the front and the one you sent me has a staggered front edge. should be able to splice something together out of the two so it's all good.

there is a picture of the hump that you have in this link. perhaps if you also get the removable piece in frt of it that it will work.

The tranny hump cover I sent, is the primary high hump tranny cover and it must be coupled with a high hump front cover, that is factory spot-welded to the firewall. If you are changing from a low to a high or vice-versa, you have to have the corresponding front cover, to enclose the area, as it would have been from the factory. The high humps and low humps are the same across the '60-'66 Chevy light-duty trucks. This is the same with the factory spot-welded front cover.

If it doesn't work out for you, please let me know and I will make it right. Thanks for your business. I appreciate it.

Yeah it was the correct part. I don't know why but for some reason I thought mine was straight where it meets the firewall. I didn't realize it had the slight notch on the top just to the left of the shifter.

Great. I hope you are happy with the cover and thanks for your business.

Hey Bill. Thanks for the inquiry. I usually sell the underhood heater delete plates as a set for $45.00, including shipping, but I will sell the fresh-air delete seperately. How about $20.00, including the mounting lag screws and shipping?

I accept PayPal at: 4-5-6chevytrucks@sbcglobal.net

Hey Don. I don't know what that is. I have parts for the '60-'66 Chevy/GMC trucks, but I don't know what fits on the '67-'72 rigs.

I have a post looking for the bellhousing part number. From what I have read so far I need a bellhousing from a early 67 v8 and back. The 5505's have a 5 1/8 trans retrainer hole in them but the bell I need has the 4 11/16 hole. Hopefully someone can find me a part number to makle sure.
Thanks for the quick reply

I am also needing a patch panel for my dash. I need the piece that goes directly under the speedometer, along the bottom of dash. has cutout for steering column. and continues over to just below the left hand side of the radio cut out. probably just need a old dash that is rusted through on top corners or something like that. Dont no how mine got bent but it did. someone else tried to straighten it, didnt work out so good for them. so I must cut it out to fix it properly. Thanks Bill

Big block or small block? What type transmission? SM420? SM465? Saginaw truck 3-speed? I have all of those, but I need to know if any of these are what you need. Let me know and I will do my best to help.

Good to hear from you Bill...long time! To ensure I am providing what you need, how about the driver side half of the dash, from the center to the left? I also have an entire dash assembly, from A pillar to A pillar, if you would rather install a good one and not have to repair your existing dash.

The left half is $75.00, including shipping. A complete dash, in good condition with no molestation or random holes is $160.00, including shipping.

I will cut a junk dash for you, but I would like to know a measurement from the left A pillar toward the center, to ensure I cut what you need, otherwise I will be ruining the piece you need.

Let me know your thoughts and I will reply accordingly. Thanks for the opportunity.

Tony,
Sorry for being so vague. Small block, original truck 3sp 4x4.

Do you have a photo of the truck 3-speed? If so, I will compare it with what I have.

Superb. I have a few of the factory bell housings for that tranny. I will check the opening diameter, to see if it is 4-11/16". Thanks for the picture...it really helps.

Does it look like the 3-speed tranny in post #1074 above?
