Put a "new" bumper on my crewcab a few days ago.. Also I had to flat tow my little brothers Duramax off the road today after his truck lost oil pressure.

He's got the lift and the ground clearance.

But I don't understand guys that do this.

Yes you have a tall truck, but you are only as good as your lowest point. That control arm brace is just one big old blade on there.

well, look at a monster truck, much bigger and the suspension WORKS

But they are running 6ft tall tires. And they are for show only. I'm talking about real world driving and use. If you've ever been off roading (or rock crawling) you'd know that he wouldn't make it very far. I'm sure it would do good in like watered down mud, if it had drive shafts.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

Hey joe sorry it took so long with the reply.

I put 3in spindles on the front and cut 1 and 1/2 coils from the stock springs which gives it about a 6inch drop from half ton if im not mistaking. For wheels up front they are 18x7 coys with 4.25in back spacing and a 255/45/18 tire

Out back it has half ton leaf springs, i flipped the rearend and it has 2inch shackles. I believe this is aslo about an 8inch drop. For the rear wheels they are 20x8.5 with 5inch backspacing and a 295/45/20 tire.

This drop from a 3/4ton to where it is now i am guessing would be around 8 or 9 in the front and 10 to 12 in the back. Correct me if i am wrong guys

Hope this answers your question Joe
Thanks Everbody

No, you buy the adapters.
