Thanks 66Z71!

Well the weather has gotten somewhat rainy and cold again....and life has been crazy busy so I haven't been able to get a ton done. But today I had the urge to paint the starter so I did. Went with gloss black and stainless. :chevy:

Like Don said, you're getting closer. It looks good.

That is going to be so nice... My dad's 292 would stomp my 283. Those are awesome motors stock. I can't wait to see how yours runs.

Thanks! It should be a good runner!

Well now for an update! :bann:

Friday I spent most of the day sanding and sanding and sanding......then saturday morning I primed and painted the interior firewall and floor. :metal:

The primer came out wonderfully, but still fighting the gun on the paint. Oh well, the floor will be covered with carpet in the future anyhow. Enjoy guys! Should have more updates this evening. :chevy:

Thanks Nik!

Today I spent a few hours sanding on the fire wall. Have a spot of rust repair to do and I'll be priming it in Monday after work.

All for this weekend folks! :chevy:

Got the fire wall epoxied in, got some rust repair and run sanding to do before I spray urethane primer. But nice to have it done. Lot's more to do! Also got some over spray on the floor boards somehow so I may be repainting them again. lol Oh well...they'll be covered with sound deadner and carpet anyhow. :chevy:

Thanks guys! :metal:

Weather has turned cold and rainy again and I have to work this weekend so not sure if anything else is gonna get done. But if time permits I'll get some more sanding done and hopefully some priming. Plan is to epoxy the entire cab and then do all needed mods and then time for urethane and paint! :chevy:

Small update for you guys, today was a beautiful 67 degree day so I spent a rather long portion sanding on the cab. Feels like I didn't get much done, but I did get a fair amount done. lol Lot's more to do, supposed to rain tomorrow so that may screw up my plans to prime this in, but we'll see. If it's raining I'll do more sanding. :chevy:

Thanks guyz! Well the weather turned cold and rainy again so I didn't get that metal covered in primer. Looks like later on this week is supposed to be warm and gorgeous so more updates will be on the way. :chevy:
