Re: "Project Orangepeel" 52 A.D
Digging the gold and the engine. I'd be too keen to start it up just to hear that rumble haha. Too early yet though. What's next on the bucket list and have you done any more to the interior?

I picked up the cap from Summit.

Re: "Project Orangepeel" 52 A.D
Well look what showed up on Amazon this week :) Ready to start fabbing this weekend and see how it works. Crazy coincidence, I wanted to put it right behind the cab in that stake pocket and you mentioned you cut a piece out of your bed rail cause it was damaged. I walked out to mine and low and behold, I have a dent/crack in the steel above my chosen stake pocket. Thanks for the idea!

Awesome, good luck with the new project!

Re: "Project Orangepeel" 52 A.D
Playing with fitment. The stake pocket has a lot more room than I thought! Going to run some exhaust pipe to the bottom since that will be permanent. Then I can run rubber from the bottom of the pipe to the tank for replacing it in 20 yrs when the fuel hose dries out.

Yes it takes alot of planning,I must say.
If you have welding TIG wire or metal hangers you can make templates for the shapes you need to make the corners etc. Mark |
