civilEGR, you better go grab that before I do! Seriously, I saw that too and if I had the extra $$$ i'd be looking at it. You don't see them that original and fairly solid around here. Looks like it could be a good driver. Cheaper than going to Idaho and trying to find one!

It looks like it needs cab mounts too. I'm going to look at it tomorrow after work. If I can get a few grand lower than his asking to take care of the cab mounts, some panel replacement, and likely look at replacing the wheels, then I think it could be a good deal.

This one has been on craigslist for a while maybe because of the price.

I pointed that one out to my wife, saying, "Well, honey, I've had it advertised for months, but nobody is buying!". That comes from the wife wanting it gone and the guy not wanting to sell. Not saying that's the case here, and for that kind of money it ought to look a lot better than it does, IMO. It's been on there since earlier this year, like at least 6 months. This ad is a re-post.

At least the frame isn't laying on the ground like a Buick Skylark GS I looked at many years ago. Price was good, but the pictures were a bit misleading, to say the least. That truck still ain't worth that kind of scratch, though, to me. I could just say"sour grapes", because I'm actually looking for a long bed step side, but I think that what I want and what I will spend for it are on a collision course.

I know what they say about opinions but those old dodge trucks are some of the ugliest things I have ever seen. With that being said I would not mind owning one

Back in the day, I worked on everything. I know how to fix dogdes too, but can't get past the looks. A guy around the corner had a 3/4T ~69 truck, painted purple (cheapo, not "Plum Crazy"). It was for sale for a long time, and I did consider selling out and buying something other than GM if I could have got it cheap. It eventually sold, but it took many months. Popularity, or maybe he was asking a prince's ransom, I don't know, as he didn't have the price on the for sale sign.

X2! I would add, these are the types of pickups that were impossible to purchase in the 70's and 80's, original owners simply did not want to sell them. They would stay in the family till the 2nd or 3 generation no longer has the room for it and are finding out they inherited a nice chunk of change.

I guess not! I once told my grandfather, when I was a kid, that I liked the smell of his old '66 C20 and he said, "Boy, that's the smell of rat piss." :dohh:

I've got a bit of a "what do you think it's really worth" find.

I came across this 1963 K20, 4x4, inline 6, manual 4 speed, possible factory PTO for the winch. The front fenders would need patching, the rockers need work, and I don't know about the rest of the firewall or floorboards.

I'm told it all works as it should, runs and drives, electrical works.

I'm just curious what an actual purchase price should be knowing it's going to need body work. If I go see it, I don't want too get to excited and pay too much.

I'd like to have that old girl in my driveway, but I agree that the time is not right. Like about 20 years too late. Cool truck!
