I found a 69 70 @ the junkyard awhile back with 3 guages already taken off laying in the seat. Would that be a good starting point (i'll be gettin a new bezel most likely)

Id like to redo another bezel so my turck isnt down (its my DD)

ya that would be good and ya getting a new guage cluster always helps the dash every time that and a dash pad i still need to get a red dash pad

Ok, I got a grommit for my heater box in the mail, should be here in the next week (yay no duct tape!)

And I ordered a 69-72 3 hole guage bezel (chrome/black) from Tim christian aka top banana I hope he sends some stickers they have a COOL logo lol

I went to the junkyard today, they wanted $25 for a 3 hole 69-up guage bezel. Seemed a little high (I just wanted to use the guages to restore and then swap into my new bezel that im getting, then install in my truck...)

Oh well does anyone have an antenna?

yeah i'll have pix when i get it and during the whole process too, i REALLY hope I get some stickers, they are pretty funny/cool looking (little monkeys etc etc lol)

redoing a guage cluster

changed the oil filter tonite

lubed choke cable and going to re route it (hard to operate)

bezel needs to hurry up and get here! lol

I know, but I ordered it last nite, so it wont be here till like tuesday probably..

I cruised the 53 chevy around tonite with E brake on WOOPS! Gonna check over the brakes again tonite (having trouble with adj.) but there better and better every time i mess with em I LOVE DRIVING THAT CAR ITS AN AWESOME LITTLE THING!

yeah i drove my 72 Jimmy with the gauges out of it! funny story too! it has the mechanical oil pressure gauge and i wasnt thinking so it made a pretty good mess LOL

well if we get the 4-8 inchs of snow your bezel might get "stuck" :lol:

like said it really shouldn't matter as long as you know you have gas ha
