Again, really nice stuff. Everything bolted right up, no problems. Nice to have a product that performs as advertised and not have to worry about having sent them out for powder before mock-up. I painted the rotors and calipers the same scheme as the front brakes--I think they turned out well. Part of me wants to paint the calipers red, but I think the subtle grey fits this truck better...

What rotors did you use on this setup?

The Captainfab kit uses Astro van rotors. Look for his user name and he has the thread listed in his signature.

I saw that but the specs show the bolt pattern at 4 3/4"......not 5"....

on edit: found em....gotta use the AWD astro for 5 on 5 pattern.

I had a chance to see them in person and the pictures do not do them justice.

That is one fine truck.

Aw, shucks. It's not that nice  This thing is killing me with routine maintenance: belts, u-joints, alternator, battery, etc... I want to get to the fun stuff!

Hey grinco, sorry i know i had asked some paint questions before. Did you use their custom shop epoxy primer/sealer? I fso did you just use as primer or sealer also? Not sure if i need to do the extra step of sealing with the epos primer/sealer and dont want to buy the extra reducer if not needed. Any recommendation from your experirence with their epoxy. Finally planning on ordering some paint here in the next month and getting my ducks in a line. Thanks in advance

Oh, it's nothing special. Just doing something I meant to do a loooooong time ago. Bought a set of tubulars to push the front wheels forward and gain a little caster. Still awaiting my ball joints from PB ...and time to work on trucks :waah:

Still tinkering and cruising. Amazing how many little things go wrong with a truck when it sits for 3 years...

Re: How to: Ruin a perfectly good C10

Yep, letting them sit is the worst thing for them. Glad to see you getting right back at them!

Hey Chris,
It does suck letting any vehicle sit for that long.
It's cool you're back in the C10 gang. Are you back in Texas?
