Looking good. I am planning to move where there is some land if/when the housing market improves enough for me to recoup some of my remodeling upgrades....

I want a pole barn or large steel building (or both :haha:)

I love the buckets Rob. That building is gonna be nice. I'm hoping to break ground this year on mine too. You don't have to worry about hail like we do here though do you? I have had every car/truck in my fleet damaged by hail except the wife's new car. You can't have enough room to stable the Chevys;)

We get hail occasionally, but not often. The extra space will give me some breathing room.

Well, the seat brackets are done so I thought I would bolt everything together one last time before I send the seats out for new covers. I'm pretty happy with the way everything came out. Hard to believe it has taken me over a year to get these done, :uhmk:. Hopefully this will be the last bit of fabrication that I have to do and now I can just concentrate on putting everything back together, :metal:. Here's a few pics...

Yeah a small step, but it was nice to be able to sit in the seats. Would love to be able to fire the engine up in the next month or two.....

Is there four cylinders in front of the spindles? Looks like engine is forward a lot.

Same seats and pattern. I dropped them off at my upholstery guy on Sunday.

The #3 and #4 cylinders are about centerline of the front axle. ECE motor mounts place the engine more forward than most of the aftermarket mounts. I believe they do this so you can use the factory truck a/c without having to cut the frame.

Wow this is an awesome build. I have read this post a couple time already. I am currently doing an ls conversion also in my69 c/10. Currently using ece mounts, I was just wondering on post 475 what year exactly is that ctsv pan you are using and what dip stick tube assembly since you are using the dt headers. Are there any differences in the ctsv pan based on year

Thanks. I believe it is an 07 oil pan. I'm using a Lokar dipstick made for the truck LS motor. You'll have to check their website for the part number.

Thanks can you elaborate more on how you connected the trans cooler line to the radiator. It looks like you used the factory lines that came on the motor/ trans. Fittings adapters etc.

Thanks, did u go with hard lines with an fittings or soft lines? What radiator/ electric fan did you use? Do you have any photos of trans cooler line installed

I used soft lines and have an Entropy radiator and fan setup. I don't have any pictures of the cooler lines installed yet.

Some progress!!! I got a set of the big tube Thorley to help the supercharger breath a little better (thanks Nick and Jamie) :metal::metal: Also, I finally got the slab poured for my new garage.
