I hope they were non-usable. I've been trying to track down a good poncho 400 block for a few years now. They're rare as sunburns in Canada where I live.

The 455 was bored .060 over and may clean up for a .065 piston. The 400 is standard bore but the lifter bores will need to be honed to clean up the rust, then checked before any other work is started just in case the bores are too far gone. But free was a great price for the pair.

Trucks are the best for work... I love heavy duty.

Great to see those AMCs.

Fixed up the 290 with 4 speed and got it running. Sold the vehicle as well.
