The product I use for making patters etc. is called Ramboard. it's used for covering floors while moving furniture. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00QO1T2A8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 |

Pic 1. The band all drilled .
Pic 2. The top piece drilled as well. Both of these will match the other pieces in the truck. Pic 3. After putting insulation on back of cab I made pieces for mounting the fuse panel and this will aid in mounting clips for the wiring. Mark. |

Re: "Project Orangepeel" 52 A.D
Mark..I've been getting the chipboard from a local shipping company...i also have some of what they call craft paper....the craft paper i got from a return goods sale we have at work...its on a 3ftx50ft roll...the chip board is 4x4 squares...the chipboard is .022 thick and the craft paper is .005 thick...
I've been useing both to make transfer patterns..... |
Re: "Project Orangepeel" 52 A.D
Thanks Russ!
|
Re: "Project Orangepeel" 52 A.D
Greg, Yes ive used the craft paper as well. It is a bit flimsy for making some templates. The RamBoard can be bent with a sheet metal break to make a perfect template.
