I grew up in Canonsburg which is also the original location of Don Yenko Chevrolet. We used to go to the library every Wednesday evening and would park across the street from Yenko and stop and look in the window on the way into the library.

Here's a 64, 65 or 66 working on the demolition of the old North Central School in Canonsburg, PA in late 1966. Who knows it could have been sold by Mr. Yenko himself.

I know some get repeated, but I think these are actually new ones. A guy from the C/10 Club- TN Chapter posted these on Facebook. He said they're from 1964 in Nashville, TN.

Besides the colors, the GM promo shot depicts an upscale model in an upscale area. I would assume a yacht owner would have no problem springing for every option in the book.

Notice the location of the bumper guards. I have seen them mounted out side of the frame rails but do not recall seeing them inside.

Very cool exhaust stack showing on that roadster.

Yes, great color combo!. GM ad people knew it would look great against the fancy mahogany cruisers (big boats) of the day. Nowadays, those boats are a tough sell. So elegant, yet so demanding for maintenance. Quite a bargain on the style points per dollar scale though. Love those wooden beauties!

You're right on the location. I have mine mounted to the bumper bolts. I wonder why the change? You think the factory did not want to keep punching extra holes?

I don't know why the change but bolting on the bumper bolts would definitely be easier and look cleaner. Interesting how they changed stuff over the years.

Here's another one during the eruption. I'll just go ahead and assume that's a 60-66 there far ahead to the left:
