ahhhhh yes, very good idear! i like other peoples opinions, gives me good ideas! i have yet to do ALOT to it, about to put in an LS1 motor and bigger tranny in that, my 8MPG will turn into 20MPG! and all things said, its an LS1 so i dont have to say how much more power ill get :), going to link it up for the desert, which pretty much means gunna get rid of the leafs and use all nice shocks, gunna be able to go over a curb at 90 and not feel it! hahaa, probably gunna get rid of the current light rack and make a roof bucket rack that spans the whole truck with a light rack welded on or something like that, havent really made the plans yet, also def gunna give my baby a new paintjob! so stoked cant wait to do all these things!:two:

Heres my 1986 "Mudslut" and dads 2000 silverado. Mine has a 6 inch lift and 37s, dads has about a foot of lift total and 40s

i dont think you tried hard enough , now if you where stuck and had her atach the line to the bumper ..................basicly you only should be able to recocnise the colour of her eyes

was refering to the sound it makes
guess it doesnt come across the same funny way it does in europe diesels aspecially the older diesels allways sound like there falling apart even when there operating just fine

drive a diesel mercedes as a daily driver myself

Good running 400 sbc. Th350. Not sure what the axles are an what the R&P is. The truck wont be delivered till the middle of next week.

6in lift with 285-75-16 tyres. Took tape measure to the tyres an they are 33in. Been looking on the net an pricing tyres ...... holy cow batman ! I think I need to take out a loan.

Tires are never cheap, only the ones you don't want. I ordered new MT Classic II rims 12" wide and 35-14.50-15" Pitbull Rockers for my 71 Gm 4x4 and the rims are cheap @ $160 apiece but the tires are about $400 apiece so with new locking nut the complete the pkg I am at $2,800 and something, I am happy, it is what I want but the wife, well not quite as happy, said you owned this truck twice now, you better keep it this time, of course I said ya, I will. Gotta get what you like then your happy when you look at it. I will give you a pic of tire, just for fun.
