put master and slave cylinders plus misc. brake parts in from a donor to new ride, bled the brakes and clutch, all working now.
the old slave cylinders were just filled with a white powdery substance. (this thing sat for a long time!)
finished up tacking the new header/exhaust all the way to muffler, ...
started it with the donor motor for the first time. sounds good!

yea it is a 305 out of a '62 suburban as well as all the other parts i'm using.
i'm putting a '73 chassis under the burb now so all the old stuff goes to the pickup.

matt i like your fleetside GMC, nice lettering on doors... i'm going to do the same!

i'm tring to figure out if i vinyl the old school look or find a lettering guy? i think paint would prbably be better.

Put my swaybar on which has been sitting in my garage for more than a year. Holy cow what a difference. It does bottom out on the control arm when I air out but that will be taken care of tomorrow. No more inner fender rub.

Didn't do nothing. Put a new tire on my motorcycle though.

I installed the heater hose fitting on the engine and water pump and hooked up the heater hoses but I still need one hose clamp. I also set the radiator in and put the fan on.

I cut a crossmember for my fuel cell on my new bandsaw, but that's it.

Received my new clear dome lens from LMC and snapped it in place. The light output is substantially brighter. I'll see if I can photograph the improvement sometime in the next few evenings.

You say turbo. you got a build thread, I've been thinking about doing one.

NICE JOB!! that'll help...
i build turbo headers at the shop, and two things you should seriously consider (cuase eventually you'll have too) is build a turbo mount (if you allready haven't) that is NOT part of the header,...real important.
and i know its a bit more $$ but well worth it, is do the header pipe out of stainless steel and as much as possible. the exhuast out of the turbo stainless too. mild steel just can't take the heat after a while.
cool ride, thats gonna be fun. , Frank

Yes they have been hard to find recently. I talked to Mooneyes they said they are getting more in stock in about a month. They also said that the metal flake wheels are going back into production and should have more of those in a few months.. So dont pay crazy prices on ebay! be patient..

well I got my big block installed in the 66, and just need to get the trans crossmember mounted, this weekend. Then it's time to swap the cab off the donor truck.

used it to put in the boat... way easier on the front end towing hitch then using my pop's 98 2500 on the rear end

Re: What did you do to your truck today?

As long as you got P/S those are great but trying turning the wheels in a tight spot with that steering wheel without P/S and you'll look like Popeye after awhile.
