Awesome. So glad he ain't behind the wheel of an import. Looks like a great car. He should be pretty damn proud of that. You should be proud of em both!

Looks like you traded one silver Camaro for another silver Camaro. Are you sure its his car or are you just letting him borrow it? LOL
Great present. |

Very cool! I think the intake system will really fill the engine bay well. Looking forward to seeing this engine roar!

small updates , got valve covers and galley cover painted and installed , also started the pulley system , i need to drill and tap for one of the alternator bracket , i had to buy a new ls1 waterpump as the truck one sticks out an inch or so ferder and it wont work with this kit , the compressor idler pulley has interfearence with rack and pinion and the compressor wont work at this time as it wont clear do to the engine brackets, i have a couple of ideas on how to make it work ill keep posting as i go,i love the way this kit sits almost flush with the motor and how low everithing is , like i said before ill make it work ,:lol: |

Re: 1971 c10 stepside
That does all sit nice and low--looks good! How's the alternator fit? Are you using knock sensors in the valley? I think with that intake it would look cleaner to mount them on the block.

Re: 1971 c10 stepside
Raull,
Truck is looking great man and I really like the look of the edelbrock intake. I had a feeling you might have problems with the A/C compressor. At least it is on its own belt so, theoretically, you can place it almost anywhere in that general area and build brackets if needed. -Adam |
