I've been thinking about a set for the Burb but it seems wasteful to buy chrome and paint them white.

I had a real nice pair of painted NOS factory bumper guards in the original box with the original mounting hardware & installation instructions, but I sold them a while back, so I don't have any good painted bumper guards. I see the every so often on eBay. Sorry I can't help you with any at this time, but I will let you know if I come across any in the future.

Thanks for the inquiry. 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton? Factory steel wheels? Clips or no-clips? I have many, but it depends on what you have, to determine what you need. Let me know and I will reply accordingly. Enjoy the evening.

Tony,

I need the bracket that holds the radiator. It's the first piece attached to the frame coming in from the front of the truck on a 1964 Chev. Mine was munched years ago and welded and partially bolted in. I'm not sure if the original was a rivet or bolt in. Any help? Thanks a million.

Dean

Hey Dean. Welcome to the forums and thanks for the inquiry. I believe you are talking about the radiator cross member. They are factory-riveted originally. I have a few that are in very nice, unmolested condition. They are $54.00, including shipping, which I estimate to be $18.00.

I accept PayPal at: 4-5-6chevytrucks@sbcglobal.net

Please let me know if I can help you with this item or other good, used '60-'66 Chevy/GMC truck parts in the future and thanks for the opportunity.

Tony-have you had a chance to look for windshield trim for my 62 burb? How about a set of hubcaps (ether clip or no clips)? Got to drive the Burb the other day, put a 500 Holley on it, runs great now. Got the clutch working, got brakes working also, but I still have to bleed them (double pumping).
Thanks,
Tim

Tony,
Is that $54.00 total or $54.00 plus $18.00?

Tony on the 64-66 hubcaps can you educate me (pm) about the clips vs no clips part? Im new to this and want to restore a 66 C10 shortbed fleetside BBW to stock specs...Its a factory grey color with a white stripe and no custom stainless on the cab and its a single paint color, not two tone...Are the rims semigloss black? Hubcaps white or chrome?

Thanks for the inquiry. I have a few loose cross members, so I know I have the parts, however, I am going to take a closer look at it, to determine what you need. Any chance you have a photo of the old ones? Let me know and I will get to work on it. Thanks and enjoy the day.

Hey Tim. Good to hear from you. It sounds like you are having a good time with the '62. I would like to see some photos, if you have any to share.

I haven't come across any good, used factory chrome windshield trim, lately. I have several sets of painted factory dog dish hub caps, that require clips, but they are all have a bowtie on them and they are for the 3/4 ton wheels. I have one decent GMC cap, but is it doesn't have the other three to go with it.

I have been keeping any eye out for these items, but not come across them. If I do, I will let you know. Good luck with the '62 and perhaps you can share some current photos of it. Thanks and enjoy the day.

Good morning and thanks for the inquiry. By fenderside, are your referring to a stepside, with the big fenders? I only know the '60-'66 Chevy/GMC trucks, as fleetsides and stepsides. Regardless, I have complete taillight assemblies for both, so please clarify what you need and I will reply accordingly. Thanks for the inquiry and enjoy the day.

Is your '66 C10 shortbed fleetside a Chevy or GMC? To my knowledge, a single color truck did not have a white strip from the factory, unless it had body molding.

The two-tone color scheme trucks, had wheels painted the body color. A single-tone truck, had semi-gloss black rims, in the 1/2 ton 2wd models, with no caps, painted caps or chrome caps. The 4x4 trucks had semi-gloss black rims, with no caps.

The no clip caps, friction-fit over the outside of the center bump-out of the wheel. The clip caps have a smaller inner circle, that snaps inside the raised portion of the center of the wheel and is kept in place by small clips, affixed to the wheel, between the lug holes. The first photo is the cap, that requires the clips and the second is the cap, that fits over the outside raised area of the wheel.
