I guess I'm used to forums where doing minor upgrades doesn't quite qualify as a "build", but we'll see. I'm trying to keep this relatively tame/inexpensive (yeah right). Just a slightly customized driver. I have my budget right now in the ~2500 range. With paint and suspension, and the bed, I don't think I'll be able to do much else.

I hear ya there. My budget is smaller than that, but I have BIG dreams, so I'm just taking my time and doing what I can when I can. I enjoy seeing any kind of work on these trucks. Everyone has there own personal touch.

That is the factory color of mine. The previous owner did a cheap paint job that changed it slightly. Thanks for posting it.... now I know what mine will look like when it is finished.

Hello to all, new member here. I wanted to introduce my 1972 GMC Super Custom. This is a very special truck to me. My late Grandfather bought this truck brand new and she has been in the family ever since. It still has the original motor and transmission as well as a lot of the original parts. The only things that have been changed on the interior are a custom steering wheel, new dash pad, stereo and door sills. I also have the original buyers order, thirty day temp tag, owners manual, keys, radio, hub caps, steering wheel, and a few other items that I can't think of right off.
