Re: 1963 C-10 in NC
I think he is talking about the plug that goes in the hole that the clutch linkage passes thru on the firewall to the Z bar.
Trucks are looking good. |
Re: 1963 C-10 in NC
Yeah....I could definitely use one. I was going to weld it up, but I'd rather have the plug.

Got the glass removed last night with help from Austin. Pinch welds all look great. Some light surface rust on the lower corners, but not rot or pinholes...and nothing the wire brush didn't take off. Should be able to finish prep on windshield opening....tape off and primer the rest of the interior tonight. MY goal at least. Hoping to get color down over the next weekend and start reassembly. Then back onto engine/trans.

Some more headway inside the cab. Got most of the dash switches in. Floor vents and cab light in. Taped off and sprayed the rear of the cab. And masked off the firewall and touched up the undercoating there.

Few pics of the dash.
Also did the window trim install just a few minutes ago. Undid one 1/4 of the tape, installed trim piece. Ewtaped using what I just removed and repeated process. The trim is the 60-61 wide trim and really makes the glass look good. |
