Re: Project 78 High Sierra
Yes! We have an update! BEE was a big waste of time..The paint had lots of bubbles around the fenders, lots of fading, and was done horribly, The engine was way out of whack and once timed and adjusted their was a bunch of ticking and hissing and it would jump gears..Worse thing....The only gauge that worked was the gas gauge....The interior was missing everything except the seats......The dash was horrible, the e brake didn't work, power steering pump was there but no power steering and tires were horrible...He wouldn't lower his price so we just walked away

We made a stop on the way back through and just tucked away at found a 67 with a 302 and 3 speed... Got it a lot cheaper and it made the whole drive back without issue... It needs paint, some interior work, window seals, and a thermostat and oil pressure unit, tires, allignment etc
|
Re: Project 78 High Sierra
I have a trans crossmember left over from my 67 if you want it. Just setting in my garage collecting dust. FYI, I ordered alot of parts for mine from CJ's Pony Parts. They have just about anything you could want or need and are resonably priced.

Re: Project 78 High Sierra
Hmmmm....is that an upgrade or just a replacement?
|
Re: Project 78 High Sierra
That looks good. The body lines look straight from what I can see. Good score!

Re: Project 78 High Sierra
Thanks guys!!! Poor Rus had no tunes!! LOL It has a CD player in it but it wasnt work...When I look at it last night a speaker wire had come off LOL!!! He could of had them but both speakers were blown anyway plus the previous guy that hooked them up was a moron and had them bridged together on one channel....What an idiot...Thats how you blow a channel on a head unit
|
Re: Project 78 High Sierra
I've blown quiet a few sets myself but they weren't plugged together in one channel, but that is kind of funny.
Does it have any kind of exhaust that you can tell? Or you think its just stock? |
