Re: Vintage 4wd Pictures:Other Makes
I too love old Jeeps.. Especially the FCs, Willys trucks, and M-715s..
But how about a Crew Cab FC for the military called a M-677 with a 3 cylinder Cerlist diesel. http://jeepfc.www5.50megs.com/regist...VriesM6677.jpg How about a Van FC again for the military called a M-678. http://jeepfc.www5.50megs.com/regist...d/m678left.jpg And a Cargo Van FC... called a M-679. http://jeepfc.www5.50megs.com/regist...M-679front.jpg |

Dooley, That thing is awesome. I would like one of those.
Tim, you and me both brotha, I would have enough metal to open a scrap yard. I could use that snow machine around here right now. This was last weekend and we got dumped on again last night. |

Re: Vintage 4wd Pictures:Other Makes
I thought someone built that 1st one.I`ve never seen that configuration. That would be cool to put military axles under a...I mean, leave them under one of those for a great machine.
Hey Blackscout, your truck looks right at home in that snow...nice. |

Do you have a trailer you would tow with it? Or what would your plans be? I have always thought converting a duece box van into an RV would be cool. |
Re: Vintage 4wd Pictures:Other Makes
prerunner, Tim labeled the beginning of the thread vintage 4wds, I see no mention of stock. I am pretty sure if you got some vintage modified 4x4 stuff to post, no one least of all Special K would mind. You got vintage? lets see it. Tim if I am wrong about this feel free to publicly lash me:lol:
I really liked the new mxt international and the freightliner medium duty monster that have recently come out. But with my preference of old iron I gotta say those millitary 4x4's are the best. |

While this isn't stock, it is cool to see what these Cambodian Refugees did with a 1950ish Case tractor. It has a Mazda turbo diesel and a Russky military front end. Quite a trick job to get power to the front axle!

Re: Vintage 4wd Pictures:Other Makes
^That`s a nice and pretty darn rare IH.
I looked through my slim collection of tractors and equipment the other day.No all wheel drives, though.Heck, you can`t mess the thread up at this point. It`s not a sticky,so it`ll die w/o more pictures.I like the vintage theme, even if it`s a fabrication using old body/newer frame. The title could read like I wanted old pictures.I wanted to get the garden variety with other makes. But,vintage GM stuff would be a nice addition, too.I just wanted to give some love to 4wds in general. But,we shouldn`t leave our trucks out...right? http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z...ts/3d6e_12.jpg http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z...2_3249_JPG.jpg |
