Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread
perfect. i just wanted to see where the crossmembers were in relation to the driveshaft when its aired out. i really like that setup, any thought of makin them to sell? ;)
have you decided how your gonna bag the front? |
Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread

for the front, well i put the stock upper a arms back on in the front because of having to much positive camber, gonna shorten and cup the lowers and add 3" drop spindles with bags and that should take care of the front for a while. |

some cupped lower a arms im building.... welded with an arc welder by me, and not the greatest and best looking but they will work. also will probably end up shortening them 1" to help with negative camber.
edit: dont mind the obligitory frame in the background lol.... Attachment 671612 Attachment 671613 Attachment 671614 Attachment 671615 Attachment 671616 |

Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread
I need to find some A arms to rebuild and notch the bottom out like that for my coil springs! Lookin' good man, lookin good. Hey as long as your welds hold, I guess thats all that matter!
Were ya able to score the disc brake front crossmember? |
Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread
it already had them on it when i bought it from my friend, he is the one that did the disc swap (complete crossmember disc to disc). but i added the power brakes to it.

Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread
sorry no pics. but the other lower a arm is cut and welded up, didnt shorten them though. still need to re sand blast them then i can put the cross shafts and stuff back in and paint them. then get some bags and install them as well lol.
