Tires are 33" on 16" rims (305/70R16) w/ a mild 4" lift. Front springs are soft Alcan's w/ 9 leaf packs. Thanks again. |

Man,I`m deleting my truck.This has turned into a truck show...well,except onlyifihada:lol:(j/k!!!)
These are "all" some real nice trucks!...including onlyifihada:lol:(still j/k.Not the nice truck part, just still in the same spirit as...) Here`s a sweet Blazer, courtesy of THE Truck Shop : http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...rryBrownK5.jpg Here`s a nice K/20,courtesy of member Cooldudecoco (I think i got that right,D ) http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...6/IMG_1503.jpg |
Re: post your 67-72 4x4
all nice trucks. I am trying to find links to 4x4 conversions. I need to see pics of the front end. How the front springs are mounted.
|
Re: post your 67-72 4x4
Don't mind the body mount, the will fix later in time, but not high on my list.
A convertion is pretty easy everything is a bolt up process, the truck was halfway done when i got it, but the rear hanger are already in the frame i belive so all you need is CRoss member, with motor mount brackets, or customs fab if up, you can use the 2wd and makes a plate from the frame to bracket and bracket to bracket. I tried just welding frame to bracket each side the weld broke, tig welded. Tranny/ t-case springs Axle Shocks And drivelines. the front and rear http://c4.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/i...4d861467d3.jpg http://c4.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/i...905f6764e3.jpg Yes the exhast is welded right there, a muffler shop did it, don't know why but they did, And i don't really care. Edit i was going to take a pic of a 67-72 chevy truck that was at the dunes, a nice one clean from where i was at, but seemed the motor was lackng somewhat sounded good, just tires didn't seem to want to move fast, He was trying to throw sand. |

It's still a work in progress, but shes more than driveable and has about 500hp in her now. Next upgrades, shackle flip kit to remove the blocks in the rear, hydro boost brake kit, rear disc conversion, moving gas tank out of the cab and interior stuff, like new bucket seats, stereo, dash board.
