Re: The Toybox
Thanks buddy! I only put about 500 miles on it last year. But I have put 1000+ on it in the last couple months. Really doesn't ride too bad, most of the time. I should get a good set soon though. Gets kinda hairy over rail road tracks, and similar stuff at speed.

And here is a couple pics of the work I did the other day, but took no pics at the time. I like how the front sits now. I am gonna drop the back more but then it should be ok for a while. The last pic is of my wheel well after a little rain, but the color looks awesome in them.

Re: The Toybox

Hey...my tire treads aren't painted! :) I took them all off to paint. Cut me a break buddy.
I will be more than happy to stick it in the booth and paint it up when I get the money together. Unless you want me to paint it on your tab JonBoy. |

Re: The Toybox
Well, I took some heat shield off my honda and fit it to my exhaust near my fuel pump today. I am hoping this will keep it from shutting down on the road. Now that the weather has gotten warmer I think the pump is over heating. It will shut down (no noise at all) sit there for about 15 minutes or so, and it will fire back up. There isn't much room for air movement under my truck and the pump is about 5 inches away from the exhaust. If that wasn't it then I guess I need a new fuel pump and re-route the lines.
|
Re: The Toybox
Sounds like the pump is too weak to supply that high horsepower engine of yours, might be time to upgrade that pump buddy....
Seriously though, I had an "undersized" (read cheap) electric pump on my last engine and it would overheat just trying to pull fuel (it was mounted at the front of the engine compartment) I think that maybe your pump is just getting old, or did it always do that? (When brand new) Let me know if you need any help with it. |
Re: The Toybox
Small update. Clay 6772owner gave me a distributor! That will really help out. Thanks again man! And now, Adam cochino12 looks to have found me a Blazer tank...I have good friends thanks to this forum. Maybe I can get it all in and together sooner than I thought.
