I vote for the Turbo LS motor. I have seen many pushing 550 to 600 Horsepower on stock internals, but I know that isn't your style to not go all out on something. Here is a link to one that I've seen on here with a 5.3 with a single turbo. The engine held up fine, the stock 4l60e didn't last long though :lol: Looks like fun anyways!

Good luck with the build I am fighting Lung and thyroid Cancer and having a good project it a good way to help keep busy. Good luck to your Mom i am sure things will work out for her.

I am in. My mom also goes by Lynne and is a cancer survivor of 25 years. I also had twin daughters with cancer and one is now 10 years old so I feel your pain. Hope everything goes well with treatment. I am sure she will love the truck!
