Your moving right along at a nice pace. Lookin really good.
How much lift will you get from the rear axel to the frame when aired up?

Thanks Bomp! I appreciate that I always feel like I'm working in slow motion! Haha. I am a painter and usually have the final touch to make jobs all pretty and stuff. I used to hang sheet metal like 1/4 panels and such all the time i might not have nowhere near your metal skills but I am having a blast! Watching this thing take shape is just an amazing feeling.but this is soo much more fun than collision work. i am learning a lot as I absorb all the useful info on here...love this site!! Here is a pic to give you an idea on how much lift I will get...http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...4F9ADB5AC3.jpg

Thanks man means a lot coming from the totm winner! Congrats on your win...def a super clean truck you have!.when I was a kid I had put a system in this truck, 6x9s in the kick vents, radio in glove box, center channel in dash, amp under dash, and built a box for a 10 behind the seat next to the tank. Now that my audio skills have grown I can't wait to do the system in there!

What better way to celebrate your 32nd birthday than to do some welding on my truck and have a couple of beers without my girlfriend torturing me for being in the garage all nite lol. Neighbors moved out yesterday too so I won't feel bad going out and making some noise this morning!:chevy:http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...4EE88A6D08.jpg

Re: project bagged 63 c10

Had a busy weekend celebrating my birthday...had a great time and still managed to bust my a$$ and make some progress. Finished welding my notches and crossbraces( finally) and then ground everything nice and pretty and etch primed it all up for now so I don't get any surface rust. Hoping to get it blasted next weekend. Just need to mount shocks, notch frame for steering and move steering up bit and the frame is done. Now I can pancake the crossmember next
... This is pretty exciting for me!

Thanks man, me too! I'm curious to see how low it actually sits should be exciting when that part comes. I've been having a blast so far. Doing collision work everyday makes me hate working on cars but I enjoy working on this rig!:chevy:

Nice build!
I can't wait to get the chance to mod my frame!
Although everything on my frame is rebuilt 100% & painted, i have aspirations that the PO never had.
I'm gonna Bag-it with a c-notch, & control arms from Nate & the boys...If I can affode it! I am also looking for another crossmember to pancake & replace with the current one. But I am diggin your build so far!

Thanks man been working hard....can't wait to start on the body myself lol hope it comes out as nice as yours is! Wish I had the money to do my frame pb style but am on a very strict budget and only buying what I absolutely need....for now lol maybe upgrade those bolt in parts down the road. Thanks for watching...not everyone might comment but the amount of views I have gotten since oct amazes me and keeps me motivated and wanting to post more. :chevy:
