Well when you do a flip kit it's hard to notice unless you look really close but the back rear wheels some how go back a little bit further, and a lot of people have to get shorter ones in order to make it sit in the middle. Sounds pretty sweet man!!! I'm about to post my productive day on my page so gotta go check it out show it some love lol

I got the pictures of the computer and computer hold down for under the hood, i didnt get to grab much from the van like the ABS cause that would have been a task plus more time.. Ill stick with regular disk brakes. I also bought a bunch of butt connectors, and vacuum line since im doing this one wire at a time. Not intill i have my fuse box and pigtails for the computer will i be doing anything with wiring...

I believe the zr1 has it, my co worker told me about it. It's pretty much the stronger tranny that gm makes.

Re: 78 silverado stepside her names 'Quicksilver'

Yeah I think thats how its ran but a lot will depend on how much power I end up wanting, if I just want 500ish I'll stick with a 4l80E, but if i want BIG power 90E is what i'm going to go with lol

Man you must be able to read my mind i was just about to ask how you eye is doing.

lol itd be great to have some helping hands, and to give a helping hand. I even like giving advise, my thought process is more of an idealist. more like a philosopher, open minded and pretty simple processes on how to fix this and how to fix that. i wont go into it. talking crazy now, were suppose to be talking bout trucks :smoke:

Haha everytime I would post something I was expecting to see your name pop up but nothing! Glad to know your still alive, glad to have you back for sure!

And well its 1 step at a time might want to finish my truck before I try and get another project lol but yeah if I got a 57, I would get it power steering somehow and I would throw a fat 572 in it now that would be one tricked out ride! Oh well my truck is going to be badass when it's done I have no doubt!

sure thing man, You done the vortec big block swap?? Thats the second time ive seen somebody dare do that with the 8.1 liter cause everyone thinks they suck gas. hell even everyone i know is driving a v6 cause they still think all V8s suck gas, but ill be the first to prove em other wise.

I also forgot to add.... since ive lowered it the dang steering and take off sucks. it really has me on the down but ill fix it. i believe ill need after market shocks for the front and it will take some for the rear. Ladder bars are going on my truck.

Re: 78 silverado stepside her names 'Quicksilver'

I may have missed it but I think you said you were going to make your own harness. If you need a harness I have a complete harness off my 2005 HD with 6.0 and 4l80e. It has the fuse box and all. It was in the truck I bought and gutted and it was running...I just went with a custom harness to make the wiring a little cleaner and save time.
