Anytime! In the long run it was worth it, wasn't it?

Totally worth it. Couldn't be more satisfied. I learned how to do a few new things too. I've never removed a tire from a wheel prior to this. It's nice to know how to do it, and have a better understanding of tires, heels and hubcaps.

I think I may do this to my truck. This is what I have now. Will the stock 72 3/4 caps work on the accuride rims?

Great. Thanks for the quick answer. I know where some are. Wheels anyway. Caps are hard to find.

I posted a whats it worth on my current wheels. What size/kind of tires are on the red 69? Did MisterB post his tire size?

Looking good! Did I miss something? This is the first I've seen the steelies with the caps installed

no....you didn't miss anything. i have been super busy lately and haven't had time to post much. i still haven't painted the bowties on the hubcaps red yet. will be getting wheels painted when i buy new kicks.

been busy installing brake booster, swaybar, rear bumper, new accelerator pedal and not to mention working on my HEI and i followed your footsteps and painted my dash top flat black.

You've been busy man. That's great. I'd love to hear how the brake booster went.

How did the dash turn out? It made a huge difference when I did mine

Well both trucks look great! I hope to have the same look soon. Thanks for the info both of you.

Super easy. Took like 30 minutes and now it stops like my Vette. Got the booster from a board member for a couple bucks. Never knew power drum/drum could stop like it does for sure. And the pedel is so much more friendly and smooth when applying. Very responsive.

Was as simple as unbolting pedal. Unbolting Master Cylinder and pulling it forward. Bolt in booster. Bolt up rod to pedal. Bolt master cylinder onto booster. Hood up vacuum line to booster. No bleeding or anything involved.

That is so great to hear. So, did you ditch the idea of the booster from Autozone then?

Absolutley. Much cheaper from donor truck and figured I would give it a go. Now I must say it is the best investment I have made to date.

I'm out and about looking for a 700r4 now. I really need to tame the 4.11 gears in the back.
