Here are some of the scan gauge. I took these right before I left for work.
Dash lights on.

Scan gauge lite up. I took the ash tray out and just stuck it in the opening for now. I want to try and make it slide in and out if I can. If you have suggestions LMK. I may just use the double sided tape on the front of the ashtray but would rather not.;)

Tell Bruce (Hawks 3rd gen owner), Justin said Hey. I'm from Saluda, SC but I've done a decent amount of business with Hawks and he traded me a 99 z28 vert for my Tacoma last year. The Tacoma was his sons Christmas present.

Had a little setback yesterday on the truck. Was going to have the exshaut done but truck wouldn't start. Ended up having a fuel pump installed. We had talked about it before and figured it would last a little longer than 4 days!

Oh well new pump in and it's a lot more responsive than it was with the old tpi pump. Glad it happened at the house and not on the road someplace!

I love this truck!!!! I have a red C30 I would love to do this swap to. Like you, I work 12 hours a day and don't get home until 8:30 which doesn't leave much time at all to work on anything. Unlike you, I also do not have the $$ to get someone to square it away for me.

Nice truck though man, I really enjoyed this thread and it gave me a little more motivation to do something to my truck....

Thanks it's my baby and nothing is to good for it! I wished I would have done the swap myself but as I stated just didn't have the time and had the extra cash to have it done.;):chevy:

Exhaust sounds awesome! Really like how they exit also. Great pics keep them coming.

It appears as though you have the stock engine mounts. What did you use to mate the engine to the stock mounts?

Thanks,
The mounts were in the motor package I got. Then Hawks used there mounts to the frame which are pretty much just GM motor mounts.

Andy, where did you get your flex tube on your intake from? I am going to be adding a high mount ac from DD and my stock air intake one will not fit once the DD is added. I need an alternative and yours looks like it will work.

thanks!
