Re: New 64 Stepper Project
I should have put this hear but forgot - After seeing 64shortbox’s brake pedal I had to give it a go. I received a Camaro pedal arm and cut the pedal off at the back of the pedal from the arm.
Cut the stock pedal off the stock arm and prepped everything to weld out. Now I just have to find a local welder. I may have it tacked on the truck to make sure it's straight though. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/a...1&d=1490396422 http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/a...1&d=1490396422 http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/a...1&d=1490396422 |

So I pretty much smoothed the firewall of mounting holes and will be using these weld mount studs to mount the AC unit, Fuse Block etc inside.

Also picked up a wiring harness and fuse panel, all the stuff to make a relay panel like the one shown below and a main power ground buss for inside the cab.

Re: New 64 Stepper Project
Yep, not much change since the last pics at the paint shop. But I did clean up my shop after having been gone so long there were many bugs - crickets. So I vacuumed every inch of the shop - piles of them. Even a big ol black and yellow centipede (found dead), I guess the bug guy works. Momma found a bark scorpion in the house and freaked. :)

Re: New 64 Stepper Project
Not going to be too active for a bit as I'm without a job for a while so I'm kind of looking at other venues - "We keep you alive to serve this ship. Row well, and live"

Re: New 64 Stepper Project

Wow!! Just checked out your build for the first time! Great Job! I'm jealous! I see in your earlier post you're going to build a relay and fuse board to go along with your new wiring harness & fuse block. I plan on doing the same but I recently found these fused 4 pin relays. It puts the fuses & relays in one neat package. I just ordered some off ebay but they haven't arrived yet. Check out the link and let me know what you think:

I was recently looking at this due to the size and all, http://www.ebay.com/itm/Fuse-Box-6-R....c100005.m1851 You can cut down on the footprint of the fuse panel. With the fused relays you could even buy a small fuse block like that without the relays in it and use those fuses. |
