waiting to here your times. Our motor's are the same but you've gone a bit bigger in the cam and stall departments, mine was carb'd but now efi, and I'm running a 4L80e instead of t400....and your trucks is a bit lighter I'd bet.

What times did you get out of your old setup?

Re: 1967 C-10 LS POWERED Build

only went one time carb'd to 1/8mi track and was only in the 8's and I forget the mph. Crappy converter and slipping trans....not now tho. Think it would do better now but starts to shake bad at 80-85...so I haven't been back. Planning to replace slip yoke, upgrade to 1350 pinion yoke, and get a aluminum shaft...then reduce angles to 1*. Then it should be smoooth.

looks like you might get yours done before i get mine done.... I think you should put the fuel cell under the bed with a billet cap coming thru that floor:metal: unless the cell hangs to low... to bad you live in shawnee i would like to come see it....

Got the tubs installed yesterday. Just need to cut the backs out. Everything is coming right along. Dyno this Friday and some track time to follow.

I like the looks of those tubs. Is the inside panel going to be welded on?

Well guys didn't make it to the dyno today. Did make it out to the track though. Best pass of the night was 11.92 at 110 mph with a 1.6 60 ft. Pretty happy for my first time out. Lots of things to improve on and what not. Overall happy for what the setup consist of and got a chance to weigh it tonight for the first time 3320 with out me and a full tank of gas.

Great first outting . All that hard work pays off when you get to enjoy the trips to the drag strip .

Wow great pass. 3320 w/o a driver is really good. MPH seems a lil low, how did it feel?

Felt good man. It's a stock bottom end. Spun it to 6700 to squeeze that time. I agree on the mph. A/F was holding around 13.2 through traps. Haven't decided what I want to do next lol. First thing I'm going to do is re cooperate some finances haha. Thanks though.
