I think you could fab one. You are obviously not a wimp to fab, but it would require tons more work. I think it will be fine with only 3 doors though. I have been silently watching this build from nearly the beginning and I love how it is coming out. On another note, I make 3d models for an outdated game called 4x4 Evo 2. I thought you would be interested in seeing my model I made of a 1966 quad cab shortbed pickup I created. Here are a few pics of it: http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j2...b/b4616547.jpg http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j2...b/1fbd03e8.jpg I hope it is OK with you that I post these here. Now you have inspired me to work on another crew cab of the 68-72 gen. |

Not much work on the truck today I was running around getting parts.
A fellow boardmember "americanthunder" saw my post about my block being cracked so he offered up the motor he pulled out of his truck "booger" as a core. So I went and picked it up and I couldent be happier now, I have good motor to rebuild. |

I also went to my buddys and cut up another cab for patch panels
and it had a nice ac dash so i grabbed that too I plan on running aftermarket ac but i want all the stock vents and controls. Also if I remove the dash it will make it alot eaiser to repair the kick panel. |

You could put a 'T' bucket bed on it (with Chevy for logo, of course).
http://californiacustomroadsters.com/bod.html Or just put a trunk box back there and call it done. |
Re: Brave or crazy? crewcab build

Re: Brave or crazy? crewcab build
Cool project! I love my 'burb but having the ability to tow a fifth wheel and have two rows of seats is pretty sweet. Nice work on the roof. My only knock with crewcab builds is when people dont get the roof or rear door right and ruin a nice sub. You have done an excellent job of getting both right. Keep up the good work.
