I have never ask Alan to give me a refund.....Never said a word about anything...... He offered to refund the money on the bed I bought from him, that we both thought was a lot straighter than it was.
Thanks Alan.

I would never ask for a refund on anything, unless it was crap work and probably wouldn't say anything about it anyway.....You know, it is what it is ;)

I'm not in the habit of taking advantage of people.

They way I read it is that Alan was doing the right thing since he sold you the bed (from what I gather) And the way he worded it seemed to be saying just that. He sold you something that you both thought was good and turned out not to be in the shape at first thought so he offered to credit back the amount paid. No problems there. I think Dennis' statement was more in the line of since you are bringing a bed from another source and unknown condition (never really know until you start working on it) that should the new bed turn out bad, Alan shouldn't offer a refund on his work just to be a good guy. I don't think it sounded bad on anybodies part. So don't sweat it.

Allan sent me a PM asking me what I thought. I shouldn't have gotten all of you involved and have answered him with a PM. Now you guys know what we go through. The good guys want to keep the customer happy so we don't get a bad name, and get repeat business.

It didn't sound bad, it was completely understandable. But I do see how it could have been taken out of context. No problems.

I know I'm the party pooper. Or I could be the designated driver.

I was going to assemble my rear brakes tonight, but realized I don't have any E brake cables for the rear.

Trying to decide on color for my truck......:fb:

Black.....Don't see to many and Alan would have to be at top of his game ;) I know that's not a problem for the master ;)

Red.....Too many, but very sharp.

Blue....Thinking of same color as my old ZO6.....

Looks great at dark.....

I'm going with a 2 tone Corvette Torch Red and black. I'll separate the 2 colors with a silver pin strip. With red interior. But that Corvette Blue would look good with black too.
I had a 93 Torch Red Vette. I love that color.

I'm was going to go flat green. But you think flat white might be better huh. ;) I'm really wishing they made long bed sides. Oh well I'm in no hurry. I'll run out of $ before I'm done anyway. Elbow grease and filler are cheap, compaired to air bags and tanks and compressors and stuff and stuff. I like the car.

Red with a white cap and the correct paint breaks would be a nice combination.

It seems like you might never find a truck then it pops up. When you go around the bodyshops during the day put some feelers out that your lookin'. You might be surprized.

What year was the one in Kingston?
