Very nice 1sick7T2 burb you have:metal:.
One question about your flip over hood-system.
Is that custom made or it it available at a shop? It looks very nice! Never seen that before.

Those licenseplates, is it possible to get some plates for somebody who's living outside The States, just for fun-use, or are there restricted rules to get some custom-made californian plates?

I look forward to see the final paintjob on your suburban.

Clear paint?

Everyone who visits the Netherlands is heading to Amsterdam. They always go to see a windmill and than getting fast to the coffee-shops and the red light-district:metal:. I've been there many times but not my favorite place to live. To busy. I like the wide fields and little villages. There I can drive many more miles in less time:burnout:.

....a slight update for those who care...haven't been here for a while.....just had the body pinch cut off....had all the rockers plated with 1/4" steel..lays flat now......so now if i drag, the body is WAY stronger....and bought a complete 'parts' burb 4x4.....using 1 of the bench seats for the back....and took off the front bumper...sectioned it 2" and setting it closer to the grille...close up the gap....welding all the bumper bolts to the back...so i can grind them down on the front.....SMOOOOOOOOOTH AND WILL BE CHROME picture soon had some 3" speakers adapted to the dash ac vent holes (where the chrome ac balls are) looks good..... on the freeway they suck thou,,,lol...........does any 1 know if i can buy the bench seat material that i have (orange, black and white plaid)? mines pretty worn...plus wanna do both bench seats...........tell me what u think L8

Re: project "DIRTY BURB"

I always wondered about doing speakers like that too, looks like it works well! bumper looks sharp too. I'm trying to remember if it was a magazine build or what that they worked on a bumper and left it wider but rolled it back around with the lines and all and met it to the body, if that makes since, instead or leaving the edges straight...

thx for noticing...working on the 3rd rendition of the rear floor now...making a 1x1 metal square tubing frame...with a trap door over the gas tank in case pump goes out....no dropping the full tank for me...and my air valves are right there too.....going (for now) just a nice white plywood floor, later either carpet, a different wood topper or some kind of thin metal...something trick is the goal

Re: project "DIRTY BURB"

i actually got the idea from a guy who did that to his ol mini toyota roof,,,,thought the bumper would carry it ..thru kinda has a raw look still to it...u can see all the swirl marks from the grinder and sanding, some small rust spots(wouldnt grind out) ....and the roof is sooooo huge, obnoxious almost..i LOVE it..totally different
