Re: Project Slo-Go 67

Thanks for the comments guys! the wheels are in Pristine shape, Dan took excellent care of them. I have not even attempted to clean them up, will probably just wash with soap and water, and put a coat of wax on them.... The sway was a pain in the arse, would have been easier on a lift, but we got the mofo installed...... now need to work on the rear, rebuild brakes paint the drums.... and check things out.... Geoff let me know if you install that powertrax.....

He was asking $75 which was cheap compared to most wanting $110.00 I stopped by a couple of times and was reluctant, it was hot as heck and he was ready to leave. Snagged em for $40..

That should be posted in the SCORED area!! Found some new ones for $175, sounded a little pricey but they are unused in new condition.

Re: Project Slo-Go 67

These are unused as well. black and are TX Truck tags, they start with 5W as did the more expensive ones did. I should have looked and bought some for the '56 but I was in a hurry to leave.......

Geoff,

Not much progress, we have been stripping another '72 lwb parts truck as it will donate its suspension to my inlaw's '65.

We did get the intake painted, and bolted onto the '67. I need to get a couple of fitting, and then i can install the edel fuel pump, then i need to get some steel or aluminum fuel line and run it. I am still trying to get the cab and doors to my buddy's body shop.

ok, we worked on the truck some before the bad weather sat in. We reclocked the fuel pump, and mounted it, we also installed the edelbrock VC's using permadry gaskets, and old spreaders (will replace these later with aluminum ones im guessing) then we cleaned the garage some, looks alot better but still need to find some of my tools that are MIA!

Did you end up buying a pack?, or are you running without them? Now i have to look at your build again! I'll need some for sure , cant recall how many are used but only think we had four or five. :waah:

Yep....I only needed like 4, so I think I got like 6 left....10 come in a pack and it's $3.25/ pack through Summit....i think you'll need 14 per VC.....

Awesome progress Heath! That thing is coming right along.

What tires are on the new wheels?

my67chevytruck 08-03-2009 04:19 PM

Re: Project Slo-Go 67

Nate,
Thanks for the comment!
The tires are Kumho Proxes. we had the rims/tires mounted for a bit, but took them back off and have them stored in the corner for now.

BTW, Blank Slate is a Bad MoFo!!
