Test fitting the bed...again.
Made 5 in 1.5"x1.5" square tubing stand off that the new bed floor will sit on. Ive came across a problem of finding a place to put the gass filler. I didnt want to just cut the bed and have a hole in it like many that ive seen. |

Heres what the filler is gonna look like. I took the neck off an old c10 gas tank laying around the shop, and the od and id match up. Now i have to cut the back of the bed and make a bracket to bolt it to

I just realized that i didnt mention why i named the truck charelene. A couple of years ago i was watching full metal jacket at 4am after working on the truck. Private pile names his rifle charelene. And that was a done deal for me, the name was given
