Suppose it's good a time as any to post this... been saved on my desk top long enough.

It's a 1959, was for sale around here for a bit. Never seen another IH with a nose like it, thought it looked cool.

That must be Macungie, PA. The ATCA national show. I missed last year but go every year. It's fantastic! I ride with my sign painter friend in his '58 Reo. Here is a YouTube video from the '17 show. At the very end, about 9:40, we are seen leaving in it (That's my arm in the window. Woo Woo!)

You see it all there. It's always on Father's Day weekend. A wholotta Macks! Macungie is where the main Mack Plant is. They have a shuttle to the plant for tours all weekend. If you like old trucks you will no be disappointed. No judging, just for the love of trucks.

Cool shorty. Growing up, there were plenty of those in the North East.

I used to see them as yard-dogs. They were not very common. I believe Interstate ran these IH units...:gmc2:

Those B81s are big bad mamma jammas. I wouldn't say $10k is a steal, though. Looks like the greed has come to the historic truck world. It's not like they are anything to go make a living out of and they don't exactly fit in a garage. Buying one is where the spending begins and the love of old trucks is where the value is.

It takes a lot of hard work and money to get to this point, and the owner will never get his money back even if it was a free truck
