That's "Wild Willie" Borsch. He's the one that is famous for driving a AA/Fuel Altered with one hand.

I actually sat in that car: when I was about 8 years old we were visiting Tri City Dragway (Saginaw Michigan) and walking in the pit area. He picked me up and swung me over into the seat.

The one thing I remember: painted on the "turtle deck" portion, was a map with a little flame denoting every place he crashed...
