I still like it though, it looks like the builder did a decent job on whats done already.

$21,000 Listed 5 days ago in Cottage Grove, OR About This Vehicle Driven 144,991 miles Manual transmission Exterior color: Green · Interior color: Green Fuel type: Gasoline Fair condition Seller's Description I believe this pickup to be the GMC Suburban Carrier 100. The engine turns over but the gas lines need replaced. It has a crack in the windshield and needs brake work. The transmission was changed from Turbo to a Standard. This is a rare find as there were only about 256 of these made and not many of them are around now. I read an article today that stated that there are only 24 known to exist and the article was written in 2014. I have a clean title for this pickup and new license plates. |

Re: Post your C/L - Facebook finds for everyone to enjoy!
$21k??? i must be out of touch with prices. farming out a restoration would be $200k or more, for a vehicle worth $60-80K? definitely a case of barrettjacksonitist

IMHO this is all the result of the inflation over last 2 years. Same deal for real estate EXCEPT the market on everything seems to have stalled and may free fall once folks realize that even DIY restoration on cars, houses or anything is no longer cost effective. Many are rightfully clueless as to the value of a dollar right now.

I can remember when that 58 longbed was a pretty nice truck and saw it at a few events in the early 80's. I think somewhere in an old album I have a photo of it from the Run to Roslyn or the Othello Spud run.

Re: Post your C/L - Facebook finds for everyone to enjoy!
I was going to do that on mine and even drug home the remains of a Burb out of Roslyn Wa to do it and the burb was so roached out it pretty well fell apart as we hauled it down the road on a trailer.
