I like your out-door paint booth, kinda like mine lol. the blue is growing on me also. like my color, everybody will know who it is for sure coming down the road.
you're getting a bunch done quickly, or is it i'm just slowing down--great job also. |
Re: 1963 C-10 in NC
forgot, did you put new knobs on your heater controls? if so did they come with clips?

The more I spray the blue...the more I like it. As for my spray booth, its making due the best I can for now. So far the results are good. Got the driver side lower door stripped down as I could tell there was some bondo. Although rust free, someone rubbed somthing at some point. The mudded the whole lower door for a 1.5" scrape. So down to metal and a more suitable sozw coat down. The dark red is factory primer. |

Re: 1963 C-10 in NC
The paint is looking great. I wish I had gotten over this weekend. I did make it up to VA and brought back a really nice 62 bumper.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Got driver side door work done. Just need some more scuff pads for the grinder. Will need a little glaze over the scrape repair...but its ready. Rocker & cab corner preppped, sp on to interior door tomorrow, which wont take much and the pass door.
90* still outside and just too damn hot since ive been at it 6 days a week lately. So moved inside and completed cluster clean up. Its ready to reinstall. |
