Had an older retired man who loved to fish, but did not like to eat it either down the street from me when we lived in Panama City Beach, he always brought his catch to us and the neighbor across the street! We seemed to always have something good from him.

I get it from my great grandfather. He was the same way. Wouldn't eat fish, but you couldn't keep the man off a boat or out of the water.

Like your neighbor, most of mine goes to friends and family. Seems plenty of people don't like to fish, but love to eat it, so its a win win for me.

Haven't had much time to do much of anything. Will be offshore this weekend with our big trip. Spent last weekend tearing off the top of the bike to get the carbs off the bike. Need to reinstall them tonight. Have a 4 day weekend coming up, so hoping to get back on it Monday/Tuesday.

Sorry on the delay guys. Have been working feverously on the barn and its near completion now. Just have two bay doors left to install. So will be back on track with the project in the next few weeks. Will get some picks and updates up soon.

Thanks for keeping my project in mind and looking forward to getting it done and driving soon.

Thanks Don. Have been back to building knives again. Shop getting closer to being done and we have a son who is expected to be born June 25, 2016...so a lot going on. Temps are supposed to rise next week, so hoping to get the bed sprayed.

Just driveshaft left to install and finish some minor exhaust pipe issues.

Congratulations on the baby boy coming.
Love your truck, coming along nicely, I haven't worked on mine in 2 years, I just use it to get materials for my house i am remodeling, looking to move south for retirement, then I will have plenty of time to play in the garage.
Enjoy

Congrats on the boy, he's going to love your trucks.
The truck will be there when you have time, mine sat until my kids went to college and I got bored, hopefully you don't have to wait 20 years but the kids come first, Enjoy your newest addition to the family.

Re: 1963 C-10 in NC

I am still working on the project. Things have slowed way down the last three years with two kids and two jobs. Moving the stepside up the hill into the barn in the next few weeks and with any luck should have it running under its own power by spring.

Re: 1963 C-10 in NC

Kids are more important than anything. Before you know it you will be a Grandfather. The truck(s) will be there, the kids childhood will not. I remember those days. I was working at least two jobs to keep food on the table for the family. It is hard but worth every minute of it. My kids drive up here from Greensboro every weekend with my grand babies and choose to spend their time with the wife and I. We have one daughter in New Zealand, her and the grandson come over and spend a month a year. You ever need a retired grumpy old man to give you a hand, just send me a PM. I used to live in Fayettenam on Gruber Road. I believe the new name is Fayetteraq.

Re: 1963 C-10 in NC

I have been in Fayetteville since 1988 and it has changed names a few times now. Still a lot of good people here and still some rough areas like most cities.

Progress will resume shortly. Leveling the floor now for the move up the hill.
