Always a good day when new updates are posted on Bertha.

Did you ever have your Vapir II AC unit running? Just ordered the Vapir II and TriQ controller from Gary... curious how it performs. Do you have a pic of the controller installed... missed getting that at SEMA? thanks

Well, I am back with a few updates.....the plumbing situation has literally had me on hold trying to figure it all out. When I lost my right hand guy Gary I also lost my plumbing expert, so this has been trial by error for me and has been quite frustrating.

The first pic here is a Coolant tank for the supercharger and a crank case ventilation tank for the valve covers that I had custom made. Being this was my first real experience with AN fittings I had no idea that you need to buy your fittings and hose from the same source.....because of different tolerances, another lesson I learned the hard/expensive way.

Next I started plumbing the Resto-Mod air VapirII unit (top notch product) once again stumbling through learning as I go.... trying to keep the lines as hidden as possible

I give you props for all of the effort to hide so much stuff. Every part of this truck is just crazy cool!

The next extremely confusing thing for me has been the hydro-boost system...complicated by the booster being inside the cab. Slowly but surely I am working my way through all of this

Bertha is almost a whole different animal from the time I saw her last.
Making mind blowing progress.
Diggin' on the Coolant & crank case ventilation tanks.
Hope to see you in October.

Welcome back man... all your plumbing efforts look great and are well worth all the trouble you dealt with. Bertha is on her way to fame and fortune.

If you get a break, I'll bring tacos and Margs.

Re: Slosh Tubz SEMA 2015 Build "BOOSTED BERTHA"

Great update Mike! I can appreciate the challenge you've taken on trying to hide all that hose. The use of bulkheads through that air duct is good thinking! One note, you should always have one straight hose end on a hose assembly. As hard as you try to "clock" angled ends, when you crimp them it'll always be a little bit off and you end up having to twist the hose to install it. Under pressure it leads to leaks and premature hose failure.

Hey Mike, did you get the hydroboost plumbing all sorted? Been following you on IG and am curious if you have it plumbed? Looks like your reservoir has all the connections on it.

Nice work with all the plubming and hiding the AC lines.

Yes sir, I got it all plumbed with hydraulic lines on everything so it will handle all the pressure it can throw at it!
