powder coated door striker plates ( think the weird one that's just glare it powder coated nice and even )
not sure if burning off the excess oil off them spacers was a wise choice, they were perfect black(ish) in color before I done did that |

You will probably run into the Faraday Effect when powdering the spring. The tight variance between the springs will make it so that the powder has trouble sticking. You may want to consider Hot Flocking the spring (shoot the powder when the part is hot) this will allow for the tight spaces to get covered with powder. Just a suggestion. Enjoy!
