Man. that snowballed quickly! Can't wait to see it all come together. One of my favorite trucks on the board.

Re: How to: Ruin a perfectly good C10
Very sweet deal! And like said above the amount of swap ready production pieces makes the swap a no brainer at this point, especially with that cost

Playing around with ideas for this five-three. I think it will end up with a less than modern look to it: |
Re: How to: Ruin a perfectly good C10
If I ever change the motor on my truck and keep it naturally aspirated, I would do something like that, makes it look more factory.

Re: How to: Ruin a perfectly good C10
I really like that idea for the 5.3!

Re: How to: Ruin a perfectly good C10

Re: How to: Ruin a perfectly good C10
Where did the throttle body set up come from? I'd love to do that on mine as well. I've been having my eyes on your thread for a while and I'm ready to see the coil over set up

It's the Holley 300-137 which will allow me to use stock injectors (with Holley fuel rails). Air cleaner will change in final assembly--just using this old thing for mock-up. Love me some car parts in the living room  |
Re: How to: Ruin a perfectly good C10
Gringoloco, it's been awhile since I've tuned in on the forum. You never seem to amaze me. I'm still trying to build your 1.0 version and your on 3.0 now. Keep at it so I can continue to learn new ideas from you.

Stopped by a little slice of heaven today and brought home a treat for the truck; shame I'll have to cut it up... :exit:

Nice score on the tailgate!

Re: How to: Ruin a perfectly good C10
was that tailgate on KSL? I remember seeing a medium bronze one just like that on there. What are your plans for it if you need to cut it up?
